Nomi Faran lives and works on Kibbutz Yagur, near Haifa, Israel.
She studied drawing and sculpture at the Avni institute in Tel Aviv and continued working in marble in Pietra Santa, Italy.

Working in Bronze, Marble, Israeli stone and Wood. Her smooth, abstracted forms evoke tenderness, love and harmony. Her torsos are beautifully proportioned and are testaments to her technical prowess.
Alluring to the touch, these works are the embodiment of positive emotion in forms that continue to evolve in a natural process.

Viewers find, by caressing her sculptures, that they are instilled with a sense of sureness and tranquility.
Many of Mrs. Faran’s sculptures are included in collections throughout Europe, North America, Australia and Israel, including the New Orleans Museum of Art. Exhibitions of her work have taken place in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Ottawa, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa.
